This year, PAGR has partnered with Capitol All-Stars to STRIKE OUT HUNGER!

Proceeds from the game, which will be played on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 5:30 pm at FNB Field on Harrisburg's City Island, go to the two statewide anti-hunger organizations, Hunger-Free Pennsylvania and Feeding Pennsylvania.

Seventy members of the House and the Senate will play a 9-inning game of softball on two, randomly assigned teams -- the Yinz and the Youse. This is a non-partisan that allows legislators to help the food banks and soup kitchens in every single one of their legislative districts raise much-needed money!

The game, played during Hunger Action Month, will be televised live on the Pennsylvania Cable Network to a statewide audience and helps raise awareness that one in seven Pennsylvanians do not know where their next meal is coming from, including more than half a million Pennsylvania children.
